Social Housing - Seven Hills

An arm of the NSW Department of Housing, Resitech’s primary client base is low cost community housing in the western suburbs.  The project brief for this Seven Hills site called for a mix of social and special needs housing. A series of two storey townhouses flank Hope Street with single storey villas accessed from a secondary street. The townhouses take the form of articulated row housing, responding to the accentuated slope of the street. Living areas are located at ground level opening onto north and south facing courtyards with bedrooms above. The rear villas are designed to capture light and breezes with a series of private garden spaces.
